Me gusto, pero como que ya me tiene cansada los mismos libros románticos jajaja tengo que cambiar pero es adictivo
A sweet romance with a lot of funny moments and do I have to mention .. a lot of steamy moments which I immensely enjoyed. If you want to read something about friendzone turned into "steamy-zone" with just enough awkwardness ...a few eye rolling ... and drooling?! ( I'm referring to Kyler's abs! RAWR! ) , go grab this book! :)

I absolutely *loved* this book! Which is really no surprise- after all, it was written by Jennifer L. Armentrout!
Meet Kyler HERE!
Meet Kyler HERE!
i have no idea why i actually spent brain cells to read this book. only the erotic scenes were good. there was no plot,no character developpement.
Can she write ANYTHING that is not good? NO!!! I enjoyed this book so much, Syd was so relatable I swore it was me JLA wrote this book about. And Kyler was just, amazing. Jen's men have their ranking among my book boyfriends and let me tell you Kyler is close to the top! The story didn't leave me wanting, except maybe for more of it!
well done.
well done.
Me gusto, estamos un una buena racha de libros, estoy tan feliz por eso! Es interesante un poquito de pg 18. Pero lo pondría volver a leer también lo termine en un día pero no es tan corto como el de arriba. Esto es para siempre bebe❤️
“I was Kyler’s best friend. And because of that, he would never love me the way I loved him.”
Sydney has been in love with her best friend Kyler for what feels like forever. Sydney has loved Kyler ever since he pushed her down on the play ground when they were children, but over the years she has had to watch him with an endless parade of girls. Because of this Sydney has resigned herself to the best friend role and tried to push her feelings for him down because while everyone else can see how she feels, Kyler doesn’t. So what happens when they get snowed in alone together on ski trip? They’ve been alone together before, but this time is different. This time, they can’t ignore the attraction between the two of them. But what will happen to their friendship if they take that next step? And more importantly, will they even make it out of the trip alive? Because it seems like someone is hell bent on hurting them.
Sydney is such a great character and the fact that she spent years watching Kyler’s parade of girls and never became bitter or jaded with her love, makes her emotionally stronger that most people could ever be. Jen usually writes heroines in a kick ass way that is physical, so it was a nice change of pace to see it in an emotional sense. She does have some insecurities that are due to her last boyfriend screwing her over, which is understandable. However, those insecurities cause her to overanalyze most things which invariably leads to some problems. But you know what? That makes for a good story, because I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to read a book that has no conflict because real life isn’t that way.
Kyler may be a giant player and absolutely oblivious to Sydney’s feelings for him but he has always loved her. He also feels like she is too good for him and has put her on a pedestal their entire lives, which is why he is the only one that can’t see she’s in love him. He’s very protective of Sydney and would do absolutely anything to keep her from getting hurt which makes my heart all kinds of happy. Kyler is kind of perfect in an imperfect way. He has his flaws but he is an inherently sweet and kind guy and his love for Sydney makes my insides feel all gushy.
The storyline itself is nothing I haven’t read before but I love Jen’s writing so that didn’t matter. As usual with a JLA book, I was sucked in from the beginning and stayed that way until I was finished. I always get fully invested with her characters and will honestly recommend any book that she writes. So if you’re in the mood for a quick friends to lovers contemporary romance, I suggest checking this book out for yourself.
“I knew that moment, while we stood outside the science building on campus, that I loved her. Not in the best-friend kind of way. Not in the almost-like-a-little-sister kind of way. I loved her in a way that transcended those things. And I was in love with her.”

omg this book was amazing i couldn't put it down,J.Lynn did it once again, really hope there's a seaquel!!
Are you sure this was only ~250 pages? Because it felt like it was going on for forever..
So yeah, this book started out good. It was cute, loving. But then suddenly it kinda turns into a erotica (Why it this not categorized as one? There was so much sex in this..) with an half-assed story. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy this still. Hence the 3 star rating, not 1 or 2. It just was... kinda boring. Sex, sex,
attack on Sydney
, ofcourse the necessary drama to drive them apart and the making up. It just wasn't special at all. I've seen it, and it didn't really do it for me. Especially at the end, after the dinner with Tanner and Andrea.. I just skipped all writing except for the things the characters said.
BTW, what is it with guys in book that like to hit people in the face and then later not regretting it at all and even go as far as to say 'he would do it all over again'? WTH is wrong with those guys? I don't find guys who like to use violence sexy or appealing at all. Someone who's smart and can manipulate situations to his liking is already much more appealing to me. Am I the only one? Also, being all muscular and manwhore and handsome.. YAWWNN. Tell me WHY he is handsome. Tell me WHAT is appealing about him/her. Convince me that what it written down is actually true. And please don't say his dimples or sixpack are amazing because by now I've read that so many times it's not funny anymore.
ANYWAY, long story short: this was a cute story. It wasn't the best book I've even read, and it's also definitely not the best book by Jennifer Armentrout. If you like stories that revolve around two friends figuring out that they are actually more than friends, then get close and get into some drama, then maybe this is for you.

What happens who two best friends who are in love with each other are locked in a cabin (mansion) alone during Snowmageddon? I bet you can guess, but did you you guess that there is also someone sabotaging the house and possibly trying to murder them?!? I thoroughly enjoyed reading this and it was a good break from reality. It had tension, spicy scenes and suspense, basically all I could ask for. The main reason for the 3 stars is that I found it a little predictable however I have been essentially reading nonstop since March so everything is consistently fresh in my brain.
