Enjoyed the first 100 pages then lost a lot of interest in it. Enjoyed the existential angst experienced by the characters but did not resonate with the pious rhetoric being laid on pretty thick towards the end.

Classic Salinger with his cynical & brutally honest characters who have unique perspectives about the world/people/life and who ramble unnecessarily long about who-knows-what-half-the-time but then you end up learning some things about life by the end of the book. Nothing beats The Catcher in the Rye, but I'm still glad I picked this one up.
