Hades and Meg have been together for a decade, and they work, but lately the small wounds they inflict on each other aren’t fading like they used to. Hades solution is to introduce Hercules as a temporary partner in their dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that Hercules is the son of Hades’ most hated enemy, and seducing him is its own form of vengeance. Except Hercules is sweet and fills the jagged edges of Meg and Hades’ relationship in such a way that things work better than ever before.
I love these characters and these stories! It’s so hard to put this book down because this is just so good and hits such wonderful buttons for me!
