I enjoyed this book and it was a break that I need from my other reads an normal genres. It was fun and something I think that did a really good job of displaying a polyamorous relationship between Hades, Meghan and Hercules. It really highlighted how each of them helps the other and no one is the main focus or feel like that are just added on as an after thought.

I also appreciated that the issue of communication was addressed in the book and how it was highlighted as being an issue and how it can take some time for people to adjust and start talking again after so long of holding everything in.

A very solid read to end the month with.

I really enjoyed this one! The world of Dark Olympus and Wicked Villains bleeding into each other was very interesting. Watching the relationship between Hades and Meg mending thanks to Hercules was really sweet too. Katee has quickly become one of my auto-buy authors

I love that the author gets right to the point. I definitely wasn't expecting the book to go where it did but I'm not complaining.
the number of threesomes was exquisite & the detail was delightful.

Honestly this was a really good time!! Book 1 wasn’t for me solely bc of the trope but I’m very glad I tried book 2! Loved Hades, Hercules, and Meg 💙 and getting to know more about the inner workings of the underworld.

Already started book 3 🙈 🧚 🏴‍☠️

I enjoyed this book wayyy more than the first in the series but no where near as much as dark Olympus. The characters are likeable and there is way more kinky scenes than in DO but the story isn’t as interesting. Hoping if the next one is better, as the pattern seems to be going, that it might get to the same standard as DO.

There’s a lot more moving parts here than the first tale in the series (Desperate Measures), in part because we have 3 main characters and points of view and the plot is a little more substantial though it also wraps up very quickly and with surprisingly little tension. The focus of this story is the couple at the heart of The Underworld- a kink club where the city’s major players all congregate to have neutral territory- Hades and Meg. He owns and operates the club and she has become his right hand after 10 you service. But their relationship is starting to fracture, so Hades bring in Hercules as their third.

Like a lot of these stories, the attachment of the characters to each other tends to come out of nowhere and has little to do with anything beyond their attraction to each other. I found I was more interested in the exploration of fixing a fractured relationship than I had anticipated but I don’t necessarily recommend this route for the average couple.

Mind the content warnings. This story is about a triad in a BDSM relationship living at and operating a kink club.
