This book was a rollercoaster of events. It wasn't very mysterious but more so leaning in to the thriller aspect. I felt like there wasn't any twists personally, but there was for the characters. The book had such an interesting plot and play on the Peter Pan story we all know. The call-backs to places like 'Mermaid Lagoon' and Captain Hook were done very well and worked into the story without trying too hard to be there. It was definitely a book I will recommend to people. The ending was also very wholesome and satisfying. The whole idea that Peter is an actual adult is so smart as he 'never ages'. The plot of him aging but not so much physically or mentally is bone chilling to imagine a reality.

Just a little too much going on with too many characters to keep straight. A great premise though. Wish the first 75% of the book were more like the last 25%

This was such a unique take on a Peter Pan retelling and I enjoyed it. There were parts that were a little slow, but I really liked the vibe of it and showing a darker side of the story was really refreshing! Definitely recommend!
