I guess this a a cute scene that provides a bit of backstory of what Blue's Christmases were like somewhat. But at the same time it a very short blip into her life and I think Stiefvater's writing style better lends itself to longer pieces.

For some reason, I thought this would be more of an actual story. It was literally just a drabble. It wasn't bad or anything, it just wasn't much. It didn't really add... anything? Like not even a little look into any of the characters.

I love Blue and I love her hunger for something more. Fun to know that this was the Christmas before the events of The Raven Boys! Hold on Blue, something more is coming for you!!

This Christmas short story just makes me sad for Blue. Glad she eventually gets her adventures.
