Wow. This book has been recommended to me by so many people I was very apprehensive, worried that it was being over hyped. Boy was I wrong. This book was so good! I loved the characters and at least for me I was on the edge of my seat throughout reading it, not sure what the future of the characters would be.

This is my first dip into the cosmere, and the next book in the series has jumped the list on my TBR. I think it's a good intro to high fantasy, the writing is easy enough to understand so you can focus more on the politics and character growth. The banter is great, I loved the characters and loved that everyone was diverse enough to not be a Mary Sue. Would recommend this book to any fantasy lovers! Actually lives up to the hype.

6/5 book, It's amazing, I love it with every fiber of my being. The first 100 pages did feel slow and was kind of hard to get past but god was it more than worth it.
