I have no idea what I just read, but I really liked it! 😆 The stories bled together and shifted so quickly it was hard to keep track of everything going on. Will probably re-read for clearer understanding.

Like with any collection of essays or stories, this was hit or miss, but I found myself thinking that I would enjoy this book more if something like 50% of it were edited away. While some pieces offered interesting perspective, the collection as a whole was somewhat chaotically organized without apparent connection, which made for a less enjoyable reading experience.

I have been trying to read this for so many years. Too abstract for me. Finally got through it. No idea what was happening at any point.

Somewhat esoteric musings mixed with a few characters plots that are told through episodic vignettes. Ideas about travel, movement, time, bodies, aging, death and more. I just love Olga’s POV on the things of life and find her writing just lovely even if structured is unconventional and a bit challenging at times.

Had a tough time getting through this one. The parts I liked I really liked, but so many passages left me confused about how they were supposed to tie into the book as a whole. I liked it enough to want to power through and finish, but am left feeling disappointed overall. 2.5 stars*!
