I know that there are different books for different people but this really was not for me. I know books can make us feel all the feels but this one was really very depressing almost all the way through. I gave 1.5 stars rather than 1 because it did have me hoping for Salem and Thayer there for a bit. I saw there is a book 2 but I have no desire to put myself through stuff like that again.

It was a good book! I felt the author was really great at bringing up difficult themes in a very sensitive and raw manner.
