„Unheil über der Stadt“ gefiel mir insgesamt wirklich gut. Es war zwar nicht das spannendste Buch aller Zeiten, aber es ließ sich gut lesen und die Charaktere mochte ich sehr gern. Trotz der akuten Bedrohung in Snowfield herrschte zwischen Jenny, Lisa und den Polizisten (besonders Bryce) nämlich irgendwie eine kameradschaftliche Atmosphäre, die mir sehr gefiel, und auch die Auflösung des Rätsels darum, was in der kleinen Stadt passiert war, fand ich gut und interessant. (SPOILER) Der alte Feind war wirklich ein angsteinflößendes Monster, doch zum Glück fand das Team mit den Mikro-Organismen einen Weg, ihn zu besiegen. (SPOILER ENDE)
