♥️ Vow of Deception ♥️ (Book 1 in the Deception Trilogy) by Rina Kent

𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰: 

♥️ Ya know, I truly didn’t know how to feel about this one. I was looking forward to getting to know more about Adrian, especially from the other books he’s featured in - but I’m telling you - you’re gonna despise this man for at least 75% of the book. We are talking full out D E S P I S E. 

♥️ But then we get to the tail end of this story - I’m on pins and needles trying to figure out if I’m reading a dark romance or a thriller at this point. Not kidding - there were points in this book where Rina doesn’t tell you this woman is dreaming until your heart is nearly pounding out of your chest and you aren’t sure if you should cover your eyes or not 😂. 

♥️ If you’re into Mafia romances - this one is legit. More Bratva but tomato tomahto. You learn a lot about the MMC Adrian and about the FMC Lia. Let me tell you this … you won’t want to just one and done - this is a trilogy - I knew that going in and was still upset at myself for its “ending”. Thankfully I have the other 2 books on standby! 

♥️ Please note - there is content in here that is triggering and you’ll probably wanna 🥊 the MMC in the face. But it’s worth it.

I loved Winter

or actually Lia

as well as Jeremy and Yan. But I don’t like Adrian so far, hopefully I form a bond to his character in the next book!
