I liked the storyline. I identified with the heroine - having and abusive husband and the struggle to trust someone again. I liked the storyline of her sister and the ending surprised me! with some heat thrown in between. :-)

I love the softness of the story and learning to love again. The couple was wonderful and I liked the drama.

I'm more of a fan of later Kleypas books and writing and I'm glad I read those before finding this earlier work.

I liked it. The mystery surrounding Hunter had me hooked and going back and forth. I loved Hunter. Lora not so much. Yet, despite Lora, I did like the story.

I wanted to like this more, but Lara was such a puritanical boring dumb dumb through most of the book. She drove me absolutely nuts, until the last chapter and a half.
