A bear is looking for its hat, and asks many other woodland creatures if they have seen it. The bear does finally find the hat and get it back...but in a way that not all children will understand.

A great choice for reading aloud to a storytime or to a slightly older crowd (grades K-2).

Teaches children a valuable lesson as to what to do when you've seen your hat after it's gone missing.

2nd reread, owning it as a board book for bebe: still a valuable lesson for children (baby shower gift, ha!)

I had always seen this book around but never read it so I had to check it out...but what the hell? Such a random book.

Loved it, Jon Klassen is really a great artist (the illustrations were really beautiful, I like the style, something different from most books) and the story was really fun to read too, it had me laughing quite a few times. I will be sure to read the second book in this series.

Recommended to: Everyone! I am sure you want to know where the hat went.
