I loved this sweet, *sexy* story.
Then I read the preview of Close to You and realized I've already read it, too! (And I liked it, too!) I guess that makes me a Kate Perry fan! :)

The first sentence of this book made it pretty clear that it was not what I was looking for. Which, frankly, I appreciate. It was nice not to waste my time reading several chapters before realizing it wasn't my thing.

I loved Freya's story! I couldn't understand why she would care so much about Greg being a lawyer, especially after she got to know him BEFORE she found out what he did for a living. I would have expected someone with her personality, at least what is described to be her personality even though I didn't really see it shine through, that she would not judge someone so harshly based on a simple career choice. And yeah, she should feel bad that her sister was actually fearful of telling her that she wanted to be a lawyer instead of an artist. Just goes to show how unfair she was towards Greg and how she pushed her beliefs onto others based on one really bad experience. Anyways, Greg was amazing, and I can't believe he put up with Freya's disregard for him for six months and still did all the really sweet things for her, and put up with her sister. Greg is just the best. Overall I did like Freya as a person, really I did, I just wish she hadn't wasted so much time on hating Greg for a really dumb reason. All that passion delayed; such a shame. Great Kate Perry novel - but I have yet to come across one that I do not like, and I look forward to reading the rest! Love her work!

I love a simple love a simple love story. I'm a huge fan of books that cause a serious emotional breakdown in me but sometimes it's nice to read a story that has minimal conflict to take me over the edge. I have a serious fiction crush on Greg. ;)

Quick easy read. I thought it would be much better but , well it wasnt. That sister Anna is annoying and immature as they come so she killed most of the book. Really I wanted to stop reading because of how annoying she was. Other than that it wasnt enough juice or excitement. End as a .... And they lived happily ever after in 2 quick pages.... Boooo

Freya Goodwin is a graphic artist who has lost her muse. Greg Cavanaugh is Freya's upstairs neighbor and happens to want her. So why not pose as her muse and try to win her over?!?

I found these two characters interesting and I very much enjoyed their combative relationship. It was evident from the start that these two have some major chemistry and it was fun to watch Freya realize that while she met some other fairly interesting and sweet suitors through her personal ad.

I really liked the fact that Greg was fully aware of his feelings for Freya, and never wavered from them. He very easily could have given up on her when she was being stubborn, but he didn't, which was refreshing and what every person wants when they might be in their head at times.

This was the classic plot for a romance: girl meets guy, girl hates guy, guy works to win girls heart in hopes of a HEA.

A plot about forgiveness, moving on and falling meant to capture readers from the get go. With sassy remarks and even smarter come backs, the dialogues are dynamic and the characters extremely lovable.

Actually an alright book. Not what i was expecting. Not too over the top lovey dovey. Of course i predicted the conflict early on, almost down to the words she used. lol. But good read.

While the chemistry between characters was amazing, the epilogue was cringe worthy and kinda ruined the book. I don't do cringeworthy stuff very well.

Full review to come.
