Enjoyable, a lot of confusion in the middle though due to lack of communication

For a debut novel, this was decent - good, even, I'd say! I enjoyed reading about Naz and Jordan's story and I really liked the south asian representation. I cannot tell you how seen I felt because of the FMC. It's the little things that Bal has so accurately managed to capture about Indian culture and that's the part I probably loved the most. However, there are some things that really frustrated me. Like the constant immaturity of both characters, the unwillingness to communicate, drama - you name it! It wasn't bad but it really irritated me, ya know? Like, I don't have the time or patience for that shit lol. With that being said, I can't wait to read more of this author's work!

P.S. That lil shoutout to Phil Dunphy from Modern Family? I LOVED IT.

Why are they both so immature.I don’t know if this was supposed to be a slow burn but it’s really annoying. They’re not in high school. They’re supposed to be established adults, why is she over here seeking male validation when she’s capable of developing her own app. Also the first sexual scene he had her face pushed against a brick wall?????? Why was that necessary like very cringe to read.

Based on this promising debut, I definitely want to read more from this author. I had a really fun time with this, and thought the writing was good. I do think the MC's backstory was pretty unclear for the most part, and I wished at times that she would just TALK to the love interest. But overall I had a good time and would love to pick up Collide at some point.
