"I won't say I know what it's like to be a woman in a male-dominated field, but I do Know what it´s like being the only person in the room that looks different. Representing women - Indian women - in this field is a bid deal, and I know how it feels to lose something you had to work extra hard for".

Naz is a incredibly beautiful, funny and smart woman, working and succeeding in a male-dominated field. She's a bit of a mess, and the past holds her back from finding love in the present time.
Jordan wins points for being a respectful king. He is so good with words, complementing Naz for every achivement of hers and ensuring she is never made to feel inferior, by him or anyone else. And this quote simplefies his character - "I can't be selfish and expect you to move at teh same pace as me".

I love the representation! However, I would'd loved more indian elements, such as clothes, culture, etc. But thankgod her parents made an entrey, because, in addiction to beinging great characters, through them, we get a lit bit of this elements. Furthermore, the author touches on the difference between cultures for this biracial couple.

At the being of the book, the author also touches on racism, and the fantasy and fetish about a certain culture ethnicity. And, sincerely, Naz had the best responde and iconic lines - "His ignorant statement (I've heard Indian chicks are fre-) was cut short. Unfortunately, not by my fist colliding with his mouth".

it's really frustrating when people don't communicate their (obvious) feelings
