As much as I love The Infernal Devices, I didn’t like this format at all. The story only made sense to me because of how many times I’ve read it, but from an outsiders point of view it truly made no sense.
I’m not into the “manga” art style but I was willing to put it pass me if the adaptation of the story was at least enjoyable… which it wasn’t.
Still, I love Clockwork Angel way too much to give it a lower rating.

The art style really reminds me of early 2000s vampire manga, but honestly I enjoyed it. Having just reread the book, this is pretty closely aligned. Some things are a bit downplayed or background points in the art, but overall I think this is book-accurate.

Doesn't even compare to the greatness that is the original book, but it was still very enjoyable. The one thing that bothered me was Magnus' hair

This adaptation was simply fantastic. I absolutely loved reading it.
The art was one of the key aspects that this book had that obviously the main book didn't. And it was beautiful. I was really surprised at how well it was drawn and the facial expressions were portrayed. Of course, Will and Jem were gorgeous :).
The book was fairly paced and the events weren't rushed and didn't drag on. It was quite easy to follow the dialogue but occasionally I couldn't work out which order to read the text bubbles in.
As far as I could tell, the story was very similar to that of the book. This manga was a gorgeous adaptation of the original
