I enjoyed this, but some chapters were light on human cadavers and heavy on experiments on animals and

During the first chapter, I wasn't sure I'd get into this book, but it ended up so fascinating! The author does a great job exploring questions you'd have regarding cadavers and also others you wouldn't have thought to ask. I feel smarter for having read this book and it was also really fascinating and entertaining.

Informative. Veered off topic many times. Author writes clearly and directly with an agenda of unveiling the mysteries and fear of what happens to corpses after the funeral, hoping to persuade readers to donate their bodies to science, research, and other useful endeavors.

I really didn't enjoy this book except for the chapter "Just a Head". I read the whole thing, but was tuned out for a good portion of it. I hated the footnotes. It took away from the story. Wasn't what I was expecting, but it didn't make me change my mind-I still want to donate my body to science.
