I rarely ever do this but I'm only 150 pages in and I'm gonna call it quits and count it as read anyways because of the sheer effort it took me to read these 150 pages. I would say "I understand why this is so beloved, but it's just not for me" but I don't. This is so boring and if I have to analyze every sentence and piece of dialogue that deeply for the characters to be mildly interesting to me, I'd rather not.

I'm so jealous and so happy for you if this is your favorite book, but I think Jane Austen and I aren't meant to be.

Pride and Prejudice is always a delightful read for me.
I have read it now twice and her humour and comments still never get old.

I’ll admit, when I first read it a year ago I didn’t understand much of the book as my English wasn’t as developed as it now is, as I read a ton of classics in the last year.

All characters felt so well developed and well written, which only heightened my enjoyment of the novel. Each and every one of them also wasn’t perfect, everyone had one or more faults that for example Elizabeth could admit to, which made them super realistic.
