Several Spock stories that help to deepen the character.

While the first story would have been good in any other franchise, here it seemed a little out of place. The Vulcan reasoning was just as off as the Romulan. And it deepened the impression that the Kelvinverse is rather a dystopian future than the utopian Trek usually is. But pacing, plot twists and drawing style were fine, so if you ignore what Trek should feel like, this is a good story.

The second one was even better. Both time lines meeting another in yet a new anomaly. Sure, it gets boring that there seems to be no comic in this series without a collision of universes. And even more boring that each time they are surprised and need way too long to accept the possibility. But this was the one alternate universes story, that I really liked. It wasn’t perfect. The issue of Prime Spock being in love with Kirk (new Trek fans who didn’t know that should google T‘hy‘la and Roddenberry‘s Interview about Spock/Kirk being love) compared to Kelvinverse Spock loving Uhura wasn’t resolved, though this would have been THE chance to finally address the elephant in the room that had been there ever since the first reboot movie. And they could have played with the paradox of what would happen if the Kelvinverse people warned Prime Spock about what would happen to the Romulan sun a century later. The story just could have worked with more fleshing out, more depth and exploration. Might have even carried a 300+ pages novel instead of under 100 pages of comic.
But in its limitations it was a very nice read.

These stories feature the original Spock and cast. The stories are pretty good, and the two Enterprise story was cool.
