Book three in The Crystal Kingdom Dark King
This is third book and about the last bff Jen that was kidnapped with her other two friends from previous books.
Jen is lost in wood kidnapped by Bad goblins after beating them up and trying to escape she meets Hyz.
Hyz was told by a witch that his mate would have glowing rocks but even without this proof he still loves Jen and decides to stay with her even though she’s not his mate.
Love this conclusion to the story of the three princesses but really looking forward to more in series. It will be interesting where things go now the three princesses have been found.
Absolutely love this series so far and can’t wait for more

This installment was so much fun! Jen is bada$$! This story is a fun adventure filled with danger, magic and of course love. This may be my favorite of this series to date. I really enjoyed every page.

I really liked some aspects of the world and others felt way too cliche. I liked the concept and the general storyline. I didn’t like the vague and almost too convenient magic system. Also the main characters are frankly idiotically dense times... Jen dreams she’s one of the three princesses but when she is told five seconds later (also in her dream) that she has to unite the three queens, she is quite unable to connect the very obvious dots. It’s not the only time she can’t connect the very obvious clues until suddenly she needs to for the plot to work. I wanted to love this but it annoyed me at times.

I haven’t read the other books in the series so perhaps reading would give me a better sense of the world, which I honestly would like to know more about, however that still wouldn’t effect my rating of this one.

After narrowly escaping an abduction when she was younger, Jennifer ( Jen ) has became an MMA fighter. She has no intention of ever being that vulnerable or defenceless again. But when she and her friends are sucked through a portal into a medievalesque world, she meets more weirdness than she could ever imagine.

Hyz comes across Jen who was being shipped off to the Gobalus. He saves her and attemtps to return her to comparative safety. Along the way he glimpses Earth through the rapidly failing portal. What is he supposed to do with a refugee Earthling?

Hyz' cat wawnts Jen as his mate but Hyz can't seem to accept that she may indeed be his mate. Along the way there are lots of misccommunications. Jen hates being treated as some defenceless damsel. But sometimes it's not Hyz treating her as weaker, just that he is hardwired to protect ANYONE.

Great conclusion to the trilogy, all my loose ends were tied up.
