So so good!! Addressed so many real issues that need to be topics of discussion far more often than they are

this was probably Jeans most Jewish book so far! This book surprised me in more ways than one. I fell for Ethan the moment we were introduced to him, and feared for the chapter where he got exposed for corporate espionage… I’m glad he was so caring for Avi and understanding of her chronic illness. Doing everything he could for her to feel better like literally where do I find a man like that. I loved that she was obsessed that he lay tefillin every morning, that’s so Jewish of her. And turns out the recipe he was stealing he had all along. While there was little spice, the flirting and making out was top tier!

So I bought this book because the synopsis talks about a pumpkin spiced babka and I was really hoping there would be a recipe…

There wasn’t.

But it was still a really cute story about two people from rival baking families falling in love and I would recommend it if you want to read a cutesy romance
