"For you, a thousand times over."
I will write my review as soon as I can, but I wanted to say I did not finish the book; hence, THE BOOK FINISHED ME.
"For you, a thousand times over"
A beautifully written story about two Afghan brothers set during the 1970s in Kabul, Afghanistan. One being Pashtun and Sunni Muslim, while the other is Hazara and Shia Muslim. Despite their religious and ethnic differences, and being raised in an oppresive society where being Hazara made you a big target for persecution. The two were the bestest of friends, like family. I loved Hassan's character, how his religious upbringing played a huge role in his humbleness and respectfulness. This book is truly so heartbreaking but Khaled Hosseini is so talented. 5/5 STARS I SO RECCOMEND THIS BOOK ANYONE.

"There is a way to be good again"
An Interesting glimpse into one man’s story related to Afghanistan. A difficult read with the amount of violence and heartbreak, but I understand why many people enjoyed the book overall.
