This was a book where I would read a chapter, and not look at it for a few weeks, then come back and read a chapter. It was far too long - at least 400 pages should be cut right away. It was decent enough to make me want to finish it, but not good enough for me to read it consistently. Probably not a book I would ever recommend. Just too long and too much filler.

Dit is een verhaal wat ook in 500 pagina’s geschreven had kunnen worden. Sommige delen waren ziek heftig, sommige waren saai en sommige waren super mooi.
Ik merkte dat ik mijzelf telkens moest herinneren aan het feit dat ze later 45+ zijn, want er is niet een verschil met hoe ze waren toen ze 20 jaar oud waren. Dit was voor mij niet helemaal realistisch en een tegenzitter. Jude heeft echt fucking erge dingen meegemaakt, maar het constante zelfhaat wordt op een gegeven moment wel een beetje hinderlijk. Ook het kinderachtige gedrag, maar goed. Al met al wel okay
