I really missed Sophie Campbell's art, but most of the guest artists' styles went well with hers (though there were some I wasn't super fond of). Didn't like this quite as much as the first volume but I still really enjoyed it overall.

Not quite as good as the first volume. I loved the Muppet Babies arc tho and so glad to have the Christmas story included. It was a favorite.

I was so excited for this volume to see life after the credit scene. After you get the fame and the love. One of my favorite element in this volume were these panels for each of the siblings in their dreams. Not going to lie, I just want a big reconciliation with the Misfits and for them to rule the music world. There were so many scenes and elements I enjoyed way more than I thought I would: like how Jerrica has to do all the planning and how stressful it is. But this second volume focuses on how we can't run away from our problems and how we handle fame and stress. Overall in some places it felt shallow, I'm not sure if it's because there are SO many different characters to keep track of throughout the story. And I always feel like there's not enough attention on some of the side characters.

Jem and the Holograms, Volume 2: Viral by Kelly Thompson is the second of the Jem and the Holograms comics in album form. It contains issues seven through ten. It covers the arc where the Misfits have a new manager and Rio Pacheco comes on scene to cover the on going battle of the bands.

I liked vol 1 of Jem better, but vol 2 was still a lot of fun. The bonus comic at the beginning with the Holograms each dreaming in different film universes was cute. The main story arc was very engaging. I wasn't a big fan of the last issue, mainly because it felt out of place tone-wise. The previous issue ends with something kind of serious, and then the next issue is "YAY CHRISTMAS." Kind of strange.

This volume did introduce Eric and Techrat, which was fun. I liked their designs, and their scenes together were quite silly.

Another fun collection as Jerrica tries to keep her head, Kimber pines after Misfit Stormer, Aja starts dating someone and Shana tries to decide what comes first - fashion or music. Misfits manager Eric Raymond enters the picture and Rio continues to be clueless.

I didn't like the art style on this volume as much as the first one but still such an entertaining story and I'll definitely be carrying on with the future volumes.

This was even better than volume one. I can't decide which characters is my favorite. They are so lovable and adorable and funny.

They changed artists and it's not nearly as good, which is a shame because the first volume was perfect. It was like candy for the eyes.
