I started reading this previously in 2020 and couldn’t finish it. I found it slow and boring. The audio book was so much more fun to listen to. I laughed out loud several times.

Everything that happens in this book is so completely unpredictable and escalates so rapidly, and it is such a delight when it all then ties back together. This was such a gorgeously creative story and I was wrapped up in every minute of it.

I’m really not sure about this book. I was kind of relieved it was over to be honest.

This was, hands down, the most absurd, ridiculous, unbelievable story I have read in a very long time! And you know what? I enjoyed every single word, believed every unbelievable thing, loved every single character, and did NOT want the book to end! A super fun read!!

There was a casual mention of rape that I wasn't a fan of, and it just felt a bit childish to me. Also exploring political events apolitically and satirically just isn't my jam.
