It's a fun holiday novella with neurodiverse characters. I originally came across this author in their foster care romance novel, Next of Kin. If I had to put a tying theme between them, it would be Found Family, which the world needs more of. My one little downgrade is wishing there were more relationship building scenes to balance the physical relationship. The long-term friendship turned relationship is implied, but could have spent a bit more time building it up there.

Short and sweet, but the lack of conflict and quicker pacing made the characters feel underdeveloped and the relationship kind of disingenuous. Overall a fun, easy read.

This one was just a cute short read. It was deep without being overly existential and on the nose. The spice wasn't overly done and I appreciate the touch of found family
