It was great checking in with all these guys again, seeing how their lives have progressed and how strong each couple has become. While I guess you could read this as a standalone, I wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much if I didn’t have each couple’s history.

Each couple dealt with some heavy issues, especially Will and Blake and Collin and Ed (yes you will need tissues a couple of times). I love that they all have each other to lean and count on in their time of need. There are several funny moments, a lot of sweet moments and definitely some scorching moments between each couple. Ed even manages throws in a big surprise near the end of the book.

There are several supporting cast members and a lot of family. We get a visit from an old friend with a new lot in life and what seems like a secret he needs to share. We meet a new character as well that deserves a story. I would love to see a novella about those two! Definitely a must read for fans of this series!

We get to revisit all three couples in this final story. Will and Blake seem to have the perfect life with their two children, whom they love intensely. Sadly, their newborn baby son faces some health issues that are not easily solved. Their worry for little Nathan was heart-wrenching and difficult to read. It’s easy to relate to the desperation of parents who just want what’s best for their child and want to protect them from any and all threats and cares. Sadly, that’s not always as easy as we’d like it to be. Rick and Angelo are mostly focused on trying to arrange their wedding, with a lot of well-meaning interference from Angelo’s mother, which at some point is more a hindrance than a help. Diplomacy is key, but they find a way, and Angelo’s mom continues to be a source of support and love in the face of the disapproval of some of Angelo’s very catholic relatives. Ed and Colin have a rough road ahead when someone from Colin’s past reaches out unexpectedly. Colin discovers new, painful things about this past relationship. As he tries to make his peace with these new revelations and be there for his former lover, things get incredibly emotional. I cried some ugly tears as this played out. Ed is the best, as always, absolutely amazing in how he supports Colin. His love for Colin is such a pure and powerful thing, incredibly moving. The book ends on a high note with wedding bells for Angelo and Rick. I adored their wedding! Can’t say more than that without ruining the surprise. But it was just … everything!

Narration: Cornell Collins brings all the guys to life in the best way. I was charmed by each of the voices he did for the main characters in this amazing series. I loved the different accents and timbres he did, and the way he seemed to truly get all of their personalities. Wonderful performance!

Three - that's how many times I had to reach for the tissues when reading this beautiful book which is full of joy and also sadness, but ultimately ends with such love it makes your heart sing.

Ed and Colin are still my favourite couple but both Blake and Will and Angelo and Rick run them a close race as we move 10 years into the future to see where life's journey has taken this group of friends.

It could read as a stand-alone but you'd be missing out on the three wonderful stories before it, watching these six men fall in love.

I won't spoil what happens in this one but there's some struggles with challenges thrown at each pair which they all deal with in their own unique fashion.

The ending is one of the sweetest in any book and proves to me beyond all else that love is the most powerful force in the world.
