I enjoyed this book more than the first one. Jade was a much less frustrating character this time around. However, there were parts that felt slow and a bit of a slog to get through. The ending was entertaining, but it felt somewhat convoluted as it tried to tie everything together.

Such a strong sequel !!!
The writing style is still a little bit of a struggle for me but it forces me to really focus so it's not really a bad thing.

The pace is way faster than the first volume and so many things happened it was a wild ride.

The first book has to be fresh in your mind to read the sequel though

Very excited to pick up the last book of the trilogy when I can !
