Wow wow wow, compared to the first book, I absolutely loved this one. Maybe it's because I'm used to the author's writing style but the flow was much better and easier for me to understand and follow along. Jade's character was great and the development she goes through as the story progressed was very well done. I was genuinely riveted to this story, only having to pause for a while when I had to wait to get it back from the library. So why not 5 stars? Well I got a bit confused at the very end. There was one plot line that just wasn't very well explored and I question its necessity. It really didn't do much. Also, one of the villain arcs just didn't make sense at the very end; it just could have been stronger.
But overall, I really enjoyed this read and I cannot wait to read the last book in this trilogy!
