I picked this up the day after finishing My Heart is a Chainsaw (Indian Lake Trilogy, #1). I burned through the first 130 pages in one sitting, but I could not be bothered to pick it up again for months after that. When I decided to finish the 1/5th read book, I had no idea what I was in store for, and SGJ delivered. This book is not your average horror. No. Instead, it is rich with character development, high stakes, family healing, overcoming, and grisly gory murder as one, two, maybe three killers make their way through Proofrock, Idaho, on one seriously snowy Blizzard of a night. Some of the bloody details were too intense, even for my strong stomach. But I'll undoubtedly pick up Book #3 when it comes out next month.
10/10 love this sequel and I'm rounding onto the three-quel!

This was a wild ride, if book 1 was the build up, this is what I was waiting for! I loved the storyline, loved the carryover story from book 1. Loved the characters, plot, murder descriptions. This is what I was looking for from these novels, while book 1 even though fantastic fell a little short for me due to the character building, it was necessary to build into the Trilogy! Waiting for the paperback for book 3, so taking a little break from Jade for a bit, but I look forward to seeing how her story ends
