Book 5.5 in Immortal Dragon by Ophelia Bell.
I really enjoyed this book because it has a massive change in pace then previous books.
Neela and Naaz are on the hunt for their mates but keep getting delayed.
This book I feel has more Neela and Zil/Zorion story then Naaz and Asha but feel both sides are covered very well and both get a somewhat HEA because the final story hasn’t finished.
Zil/Zorion have a very dark sexual impulses and struggle all way through book because Neela has been abused by Mari and raped repeatedly but Neela realises there’s more to her sexual satisfaction.
I don’t feel Naaz and Zorion at times procrastinate too much at time with there sexual pasts and what they’ve done in past but at not too much that becomes annoying.
This may at time be too graphic for some readers.
Really looking forward to more in this and especially Belah meeting her long lost children.

This feels like it was both too short and too fast. There was hardly ever time to settle into scenes or plot points before being tossed into the next. I honestly was not super fond of the characterization of Zorion in this, it felt pretty underwhelming compared to the buildup we've had. On the flip side, I did enjoy Neela's arc, despite her being shoved into a damsel role all the time.
