"Flung Out of Space" is a great graphic novel with intriguing artwork and a captivating narrative. Surprisingly, I found Patricia Highsmith's fictionalized character to be quite relatable and portrayed in a more sympathetic light. The story skillfully depicts her as a complex individual grappling with personal struggles and unresolved resentment. A delightful and well-crafted read that left me wishing for more pages.

An interesting portrait of a controversial figure. The author’s note added some great context.

Very well-written and illustrated graphic novel.

I didn't really know anything much about Highsmith before except I'd seen that Carol movie. I wonder if she'd have been a better person if she lived in more affirming times. I kinda think not, but at least she would have lived in times more accepting of flawed women.

Phenomenal storytelling, especially visual storytelling. I am in awe of how Ellis and Templer crafted such a compelling story about such a terrible human being, while also showing how vital High smith's work was to so many people.

Do NOT skip the introduction, it's vital for understanding what they're doing and why it matters. Because it does. And, terrible person though she was, Highsmith mattered too.

Really top notch writing and art.
