Promised Touch is book 2 in the Lords Of Sin series.

Okay, so have I mentioned how glad I am that Waterhouse Press grabbed this series and published it? It’s absolutely outstanding. Captivating. Addicting even.
I’m so not use to this sort of read, but
Just when I thought book 1 had blown me and away and knocked me on my butt, Angel Payne introduces me to Kristian Montague and Shivahn Armagh.

Their story is like no other. You’ve got a tortured rebel, and you’ve got a healer that seems to be drawn to the man who’s a complete stranger, but she can’t help but want to help him, even though he’s the enemy, he’s the forbidden fruit, a warrior who fights against her own.

But something pulls her in, something captivates her and he’s not immune to her either. Even though he fights against every fibre in his body to resist this beautiful healer. He tries with all his willpower to. But she follows him into dark and scary battles, across enemy lines, pushes him beyond breaking point, in ordered to figure out his deepest and darkest secrets, to weave her way into his heart, and she’s succeeding, even though as she is doing so, she’s putting her own life at risk.

This series is extraordinary so far. It’s taken hold of my heart and it’s not letting go. With each character and each storyline for them, the more and more I fall in love and to be honest, I didn’t think I would.. this sub-genre of romance isn’t something I’m overly familiar with or overly eager to read most of the time, but Ms. Payne is most definitely changing my mind on that, and I’m finding myself completely consumed with these stories. So consumed that I already know it’ll be one of those series I go back and re-read when I’m in need of getting out of a readers funk.

5 stars from me.
