Um okay, didn't see that coming. I am now very confused as to what is going to happen next, but at least the title of book. 3 makes sense now. So yea, I was surprised by that ending, but since I was expecting such a big plot twist (people always talk about how the ending left them shook) I feel like it didn't have as big as an effect on me as it should have. Like obviously I know Cardan and Jude are going to get together because the enemies still haven't really become lovers yet, so I feel like I'm not as worried for the third book as I should be. Other than that I really enjoyed this book though. I loved the power dynamic between Jude and Cardan and the whole introduction of the undersea was really interesting. Anyways, I can't wait to read the third one and see how it all wraps up.

I lovedd this book so much.

Jude's sister has some interesting character developmentn that irritating bastard Locke finally dies and honestly I forgot how old thay all were during this as all the charactersmatured a lot.
Jude bby how did you miss the riddle literally right in front of you

This is such a good conclusion to the series and although i found the ending to be a litttle rushed and lack- luster, the rest of the books totally make up for it.
