Parts of the book were intriguing, like the banter and chemistry between Sienna and Dante and the mob plot. Other parts of the book were annoying, like the inconsistent characterizations - particularly the FMC - and the drama sparked by miscommunication. Also, I think the book would have benefitted from an editor
I didn’t enjoy the lead up to the first sex scene. It was martial sexual assault. It was just too rough espec for a FMC who was a virgin. Yes, I know its a dark romance book but there could have been more thought of Sienna’s comfort in the moment.
