Thanks to Pushkin Press and Netgalley for this one. I love books set in cultures that are different than mine, and this one didn't disappoint. Although I had a little trouble keeping the characters straight, I loved getting a peek into their lives. It didn't dawn on me until a few days later that the building never actually got moved (in the story). I had no idea that it was going to end how it did. Total surprise.

This was an 'uphill ride' kind of book. The characters intertwined with each other really well, and as the story goes on, it gets very exciting and made me want to find out the ending as fast as I could. It's a relatively short read IMO and I was super into it. And holy heck, that ending! Mindblowing and frankly, it pissed me off in a good way. It seemed such a clear cut conclusion but it ended up NOT being that. I am at a loss for words.
