I'd forgotten how good this one is - my mind had mashed up the Hogfather with Robot Santa from Futurama, and I wasn't looking forward to reading it again. But it's Susan Death! And Death! And Wizards! Fantastic. Especially the poker.

However I do think this is one of the ones in which I first noticed Pratchett getting a little bit on the preachy side...

This book is hilarious and a lot of fun. But much of the middle portion I skimmed through some of the side plots to get back to what Death was up to. But once the subplots started converging in the last 100 pages or so, it got a lot better.
