Amazing and refreshingly believable.
I love Liz. She is real and flawed and aware of her flaws and loves hard and forgives when she's ready but ultimately with grace. She's just a wonderful example of a teenager. She didn't run around doing stupid things because she's "young." She didn't have all the answers but that didn't unlock Pandora's box.
Her friends and family were also amazing and flawed and each one of these characters was just so beautiful in their authenticity. Human experience. Human dignity. 10/10 recommend. The premise of this book is compelling and fun and it delivered on that promise for sure.

It doesn’t take much for a book to make me cry, ESPECIALLY if it has strong sibling ties, but this one has be tearing up again and again and again. One of the best YA books I’ve ever read.

The opening half of this book was pretty slow, but by the end, I was so glad I had kept reading. Most of the ending chapters made me tear up... it was just really sweet and hopeful and made my heart happy.
