UGHHH I WAS SOOO PREPARED TO GIVE THIS BOOK 5 STARS BUT THE ENDING WAS NOT AN ENDING. WE DONT GET TO KNOW FOR SURE HOW THEY END UP. Liam is such a nerd and i loved the vulnerability he had about sex since its usually the girl but I wanted to see if his feelings towards sex changed with Maura and I wanted to know more about his feelings that we didnt get! I wasnt a fan of the big time jumps but it wasnt a major turn off. The ending it the only reason I give it a 4.2 ⭐️

It was readable but the MC does stuff like mentally convert the temp she leaves the thermostat at into celcius and then when people ask her what she means when she says she adjusted the heat up to 25 degrees she says "I'm a scientist"

Alright, I wanted to love this a lot and I didn't. For me it was cringy and the smut at the end was lackluster. I loved The Love Hypothesis and thought I would love the novella's and it just wasn't the same. I am sure this works for a lot of people it just didn't for me. I didn't like the MC or the love interest, I felt both were one dimensional. I cringed at a lot of parts and found the smut really cheesy and way unrealistic in a not great way. There was consent without consent which was just weird. How they talked to each other during the smut and even prior was weird and way too much telling not showing. I won't give spoilers but the love interests discussion (i.e., statements) during the smut was just in a wrong place, wrong time. It should have been prior to smut.
