Towards the end, the story lost some of it's initial pace and I had the impression that the author got a bit sloppy on the development of scenes.

So good. I’m so glad to be reimmersed in this world, with both the Grisha trilogy and Six of Crows duology mixed in. Nikolai is my newest fictional crush. The only thing that fell flat for me...was Nina. Her first chapters made me weep, but then I started to become uninterested and waiting for Nikolai’s and Zoya’s chapters. And I love Nina...so this kind of hurt my heart.

Not sure del perché questo libro sia così odiato dai fan del Grishaverse.
A me è parso ok, chiaramente non ai livelli della duologia dei Corvi, ma mi è sembrato si mantenesse su un livello simile e anzi, forse anche un po' migliore, rispetto alla trilogia di Alina.
Adesso sono curiosa di vedere se è il seguito a far collassare tutto, e soprattutto sono curiosa di vedere perché è così infamous questo capitolo 20. Inframezzerò prima con altro, ma credo che comunque lo leggerò a breve.
