This book is really sweet! I adore the art style, even when it's a little off-model. The characters are well-though-out and designed, and the conflict has a clear resolution. Our main character is a really good representation of a girl who just struggles in a regular class environment, which I relate to a lot, but she's allowed to grow in a natural-feeling way by the end. There's even a really lovely scene with the main characters at a playground near the end of the book, where they open up about their feelings and work through some emotional problems together, and it was just really sweet. If anything, I just wish the school and the ghost world had more room to breathe, but I know that's just a flaw of graphic novels- it's a little harder to squeeze as much time into a book.
