This was honestly so much better than the other book that I read by her. I enjoyed the mystery and all the twists! I did not see the end coming at all.

Meh. I didn’t feel anything for any of the characters and I figured out the plot twists halfway through the book. Not a terrible way to spend 2 days reading, but … meh.

I wasn’t vibing with it as a whole. Uninteresting characters and set up. The first bit tries to get you to stay because you know there’s SOME sort of danger. It throws tons of characters at you but I didn’t find any of them compelling. Not my thing.

Honestly way better than I thought it was going to be. It was a little slow but once it hit its stride I was sucked in

There were a few plot holes/mistakes that editors should have caught, but overall, a compelling mystery and a fun read! The changing POVs and short chapters keeps you turning pages.

3.5/5 ⭐️’s

The first half was boring and I just didn’t like it. I was about to dnf it but decided to give it a chance. The second half was so good that’s the only reason why it’s getting 3.5
