Chris, I love you as Kurt. But I think you're better of singing.

Firstly, I don't like Alex. Like seriously, i just don't like her.

Secondly, it would be a great book for children between 9-11. It's definitely not a YA fiction.

I'm sorry Chris but enjoy your voice rather than your words. Sorry not sorry!

I found the background music on the audiobook, very distracting. Other than that, I like Chris Colfer's variation of the classic fairy tales. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Absolutely delightful! I love fairy tale mash up worlds, but I was convinced I had read and seen all the possible combinations. This book was wonderful and full of surprises. I felt engaged by the plot as well as the world. The characters were distinct and inventive, not your run of the mill fairy tale copies. I am excited for the next book in the series.

Update: I've recently listened to the audio version of this book read by Chris Colfer. It was wonderful. I wished he had a little more inflection, but he voices for different characters were just perfect.

Reread for nostalgia! It was very cute and easy to get through! Definitely a staple for children’s books!
