one of philippa gregory's better ones, definitely an interesting twist on the more widely accepted version of the princes in the tower, but philippa gregory is philippa gregory. an entertaining read.
It started really well but then it drifted into a boring history lesson =/
It's astounding how many times the aristocracy changes alliances.

I like reading these kinds of books because it's based on intrigue. There is minor action, everything else alright, there's a love story, and at the end of it, you learned something new about the world. This one was less interesting / intriguing to read than some of her other novels (The Other Boleyn Girl everyone agrees is the most riveting), but it still has the appeal of making what is seemingly dry English history into a personal story. And a woman is the main character.
I just can’t get into this author. I am honestly trying to like these books but I just can’t.
