i have a soft spot for books where the protagonist’s internal monologue and decisions stress me out to the point of stomach ache

v quick read - sort of jaded me because of how some of these characters reminded me of actual people (or somewhat an outline) I’ve encountered in academic / social circles so far, including close friends. I loved Bobbi’s character to a fault and the thing between Francis and Bobbi really sort of stuck considering it is a dynamic more often than not that one comes across in real life as well.
