This book earnestly strives to be a good, educational picture book, but fails.
Frog feels dissatisfied with his lifelong home and sets out to find someplace different. He travels around the pond, finding new “perfect” spots, but each has its fatal flaws(s) until he eventually returns to his original spot.
The illustrations are clear and well-done, but the story is frankly, dumb. The moral seems to be “home is best”?
