Really enjoyed!
This was not the story that I thought I would get after first being introduced to Garrett in Praise. But it was definitely the story I needed. I instantly felt drawn to him when we were first introduced to him and I was excited to read his story.
Let me tell you, his story did not disappoint. It was full of so many emotional feelings and was so much deeper than I ever could have imagined it to be. Sara did such an incredible job writing this and showcasing the difficulties that someone with mental illness goes through. It was such a touchy story and I truly loved every moment of it.
I loved the relationship that Mia and Garrett had at the beginning and what the relationship that is developed to be throughout the book. Honestly, a perfect read, and I couldn’t put it down.

2.5 stars
Garret/Mia
I didn’t like this one as much as the first. The writing/storyline seems a bit juvenile. I was also bored.

“It’s not a weakness, Garrett. And I didn’t see the mess because I love the mess. I love you for the good and the bad. Plus, I have messes too.”
we love some really good spice✨
the repeating mention of being (step)siblings sometimes gave me an ick but well, it’s the whole point so it made sense
plot:
i loved the way mia started owning her sexuality and got after what she wanted, no matter what
characters:
mia: she’s hot af and im glad she was portrayed in a mature, strong way. she loves herself and owns it!
little spoiler!!!
garrett: im happy about his development and how he started getting help at the end!
im veryyy excited to continue👀
