it’s mysterious and juicy the whole time and they don’t explain anything until the last page. that’s a good adventure suspense novel and now i HAVE to go pick up the sequel. DO NOT SKIP THE EPILOGUE.

I’ve seen the movies first, and liked them and knew of the book. I wish I read the book first to avoid spoilers. This book was sooo good  I read it really quickly once I got into it. The perfect dystopian ya book and a great start to the series. It looks like this book got me out of a reading slump 👍🏻 (written when I finished it; the middle of the night)

Bruh. I received this book as a Christmas present like 5 years ago, and I finally got round to reading it, and I'm honestly surprised. Since the synopsis was quite vague, I wasn't 100% sure what to expect - the book went in an entirely different direction than anticipated. I feel like some parts of the story were disconnected from each other, and I wish the ending happened at a bit of a slower pace to match the rest of the book
