I either liked this one better than the previous one, or I was more in the mood for it this time. I found the characters engaging and the plot moved along nicely once it got past the early stages.

Audiobook. 3.5. The ending felt rushed and there were some repetitive descriptions. Plus a few places where I was yelling at the characters because they were being obtuse (because the plot required it, but really?!)

The writing is definitely getting stronger, but I just don't like Jo, and she is a large focus of this book. As always, it's very captivating and suspenseful. I just didn't particularly like Jo taking a center stage in this one.
